Happy Birthday to ME
Well yesterday was my birthday ... birthdays just aren't anything special for me anymore.
Jase doesn't really get all excited about bithdays so nothing special from him. My Mum sent me some beautiful flowers though, so that was nice. I also got a wonderful scrapping package from a secret birthday sender, not so secret THANKS so much Anne
I share my birthday with my good friend Shannon's daughter, Ella-Rose. Ella was 3 yesterday. She had her Birthday Party at Kids Republic, the local indoor playground here. There was cake and playing and party food so it was all good
But all in all my birthday is just another day.
Next month when Abbey turns one, now that's a day to get excited about!!!

I got Tagged!!!!
I have been tagged by Nicola - http://succumbstopeerpressure.blogspot.com/
10 Years Ago - I was 21, having a year off work to help my Dad with his spinal injury recovery and rehabilitation. I would also have been getting ready for my 21st Birthday Party and my Dad's first time home since he had his accident!
5 Things to do Today - fold laundry, vacumn, tidy desk, wash hair, SCRAP!!!
Snacks I Enjoy - BBQ Kettle Chips, Onion Dip, Sweet Chilli Fily mmmmmm
Things I would do if I was a Millionaire - Buy my own Scrapbooking Store, also buy a house in America and NZ and spend half a year in each country
Places I Have Lived - Whangarei, Auckland, Orewa and Whangaparaoa
Right now I get to tag some friends - so I tag YOU! Paula and Veronica!

Home At Last
I should have left a message to say "I'm going away for a week" but I didn't, so here I am saying "I'm Home" instead!!!
My brother who lives in Australia came over for a week with his family so me and mine headed up to my Mums (2 and a half hours drive) to spend the week. We had 11 people camped out in my Mums house. 5 of them kids! My family were camped in the garage, half of my brothers family was in the spare room and the other half in the camper van parked in the drive!! We were short of hot water and had turns at having showers!! It was a bit crazy but I had a great time bonding with my 3yr old nephew who I hadn't met as well as my new sister-in-law! I can say I am happy to be home though and I can't wait to scrap some of these awesome pics I took over the week!

It worked!!!!!!!!!!
Moving my scrapping stuff into the living room is the best idea I EVER had!! I have sat down this evening and whilst watching a DVD with my darling husband have completed TWO layouts!! Since my ink hasn't arrived yet (please let it come tomorrow) Nic suggested doing the LO's and add the pics later so that is what I have done!! On one anyway!! I'm quite impressed with my efforts tonight!! Especially since I haven't done much in a while!! See all it takes is a warm room and good company :)

Moving Scrap Space!!
It has been getting cold!!! I mean it should be it's Autumn almost Winter even. It has been bad for my scrapping though. Been in the garage is FANTASTIC in the summer, nice and cool, and I can just open the garage door and let the cool breeze come in. Well now it's FREEZING in there. Over the last few weeks I have hardly even ventured into my scrap space, it's just been too cold. I miss scrapping though, so tonight I had a brain wave!!! Move. So I did. I Moved my table and the most important bits into the living area. Now I can scrap, watch TV, be close to my hubby, kids and computer and most of all it's WARM!!!!
So expect to see ALOT more stuff from me now!! I have had word that my photo printer ink was posted to me yesterday so the first thing I'm going to do is use some of my new Halloween Goodies!!!!! Bring on the Orange and Black!
I'm so excited if it wasn't so late I'd start now, but I must be patient. Tomorrow isn't that far away!!!

Jase is itching to move ....
He wants to start packing, but I told him NO! I don't want an empty house for the next 5mths!! So he compromised by taking some pictures down off the wall. Alot of the pics we took out of their frames intending to buy new ones. I picked up a couple and asked him if I could scrap them. I got the A.O.K so this is my first effort ... I'm not 100% happy with it but it's an effort!!

Sunday's Work
Today I finished ONE thing!! I finished putting together 9 packs of paper scraps for a Fiskateer Swap. While I was putting this together I decided it was time to sort my scraps. I have a whole file cabinet with 10 drawers for my scrap paper. I have a different colour in each drawer and for the stuff I can't colour sort, it's all in a pizza box. I love scraps!! They are great for making titles from, punchies and other tids and tads. Well I got this hairbrained scheme while I was sorting that I was going to punch all my "too small for anything else" scraps into flowers. So I started. I have alot of pink and red flowers now!!! SO I'm going to take an educated guess in saying the next few of Abbey's layouts are going to be adorned with many many little flowers!! And I haven't even finished punching yet!
