I don't have just one favourite memory. I have many. Here are a few, in no particular order ......

30 Day Challenge

Day 8 - Your Dream Wedding

Well I am lucky enough to have already had a pretty dreamy wedding.

If I was to get married again though I would love to have an Orange Wedding.

I don't want to feel pressured into doing things I don't want to. I have one big regret about my wedding. I let people convince me I needed fancy shoes. What I really wanted was a pair of White Skechers I had seen. I have never worn my wedding shoes again, I would have worn the skechers loads!!

But the main thing, the thing that is most important to me about a wedding, and it was the same with my wedding, was to have my favourite people there to share my day!

30 Day Photo Project

DAY 29

A picture that can always make you smile.

This was a hard one because there are A LOT of photos that make me smile. But when I was going through this one jumped out at me. This is my most favourite wedding photo. I love everything about it and when I look at it it reminds me how I felt that day, how amazing and magical and fantastic. How much Jason and I loved each other then and how much more we loved each other years later.

30 Day Photo Project

DAY 27

A picture of yourself and a family member

I decided to pick two family members
Brother A and Brother B
My two big brothers, David & Tony and me on my wedding day!
My Dad is in a wheelchair, and I wanted to walk down these amazing stairs at the garden where Jase and I got married, so my brothers walked me from the car to the bottom of the stairs where my Dad was waiting for me.
They are great brothers.

30 Day Photo Project

DAY 5

Your favourite memory.

Our Wedding Day

10 months ago if I was given this question I would have gone back and thought of a childhood memory or something like that. But Since Jase died my favourite memories rotate around him and of course our wedding day was a pretty darn important one! Jase and I were married in a garden in Kauri, just north of Whangarei. We had our reception at the Marist Rugby Club rooms. It was a fantastic day. We were married for 6 1/2yrs when he died. He was my whole life. I miss him terribly.

NZ Paper Chase's First Magazine!!!!

Up2Scrap has had a revamp and turned into NZ Paper Chase, and the first issue has just come out this month!

There are a few familiar names in the magazine. My good friend and Art Night cohort Janine is on the Elite Design Team for the magazine and fellow Better Scrapbooking Design Team member Karen Barlow has 2 LOs in there and hmmm this other chick called Tracy Palmer is in there ... oh yeah that ME!!!!

I submitted a few LOs to the magazine and got two accepted!!

The First one was for the 'Beautiful Brides' category, titled 'Princess Bride'

My beautiful cousin Nicole took this photo of me at our wedding and I love it!

The 2nd LO was for the "Boys World' category, titled "Even Little Boys Grow Up to have Wings"

I took this photo when we went to the Fairy Festival in Ellerslie in 2009. I LOVE this photo of Jase & Riley. We dressed Riley up like Bobble the Fairy from the Tinkerbell Movie, Riley insisted on being a Fairy for the Fairy Festival. I love that my son is different to regular boys in some ways! Shows he is a little bit more unique .. just like his Mummy!!

Wedding LO's

Today I was supposed to be attending my friend Lyann's Wedding. Sadly due to Cyclone Wilma roads have been closed and weather conditions are a little dodgy. I decided to cancel my 2 hour drive down to Orewa and opted to stay home where it is a little less risky. I am pretty Disappointed that I have to miss the Wedding because I was really looking forward to it.
I LOVE weddings, I really do. I had one, it was beautiful! I went to my other friend Amanda's last weekend on Waiheke Island too. Seems to be that it is Wedding season! So in the season of Weddings and with Valentines Day coming up I have scrapped some of my Wedding photos

Sneak Peeks of Frilly Frufru's

This is what I have been working on tonight and due to the hideous light in the house at night and the hideous appearance of the model (me) I will disclose ALL in the morning when my Model (Abbey or perhaps Riley too!) and better light appears!!

Until then here are a couple of teeny little sneak peeks!

Wedding

aToday my friend Katrina is getting married. I haven't had a wedding to go to in a LONG time!! I got quite excited about it! I get to make wedding stuff!!! I made her card and I made her a horse shoe ... this horse shoe is a real horse shoe covered with fabric and lace. It has given me an opportunity to use my sewing machine, which by the way has been used a bit lately! I am becomming a sewer which is making me feel rather clever hehe! I have hemed and fixed several pairs of pants, sewn the inside lining for a beanbag and now made the horse shoe cover. I'm quite proud of myself!! So here are the pics ... One Wedding Card and one Wedding Horse-Shoe ...

***AFTER NOTE***

The Wedding was fabulous! Katrina looked amazing (as all brides do!!) and the rain that was threatening all morning at least held off for the whole ceremony (it was outdoors) ... Just a couple of pics involving the Horse Shoe!

Abbey posing with the Horse-Shoe before we left this morning and her giving it to the beautiful bride!
